Application:
Solid sodium borohydride (NaBH4) is a commonly used complex hydride. It is a reducing agent with unique properties and high hydrogen storage density material. It is famous for its excellent reducibility.
It is the strongest reducing agent in many fields, such as the synthesis of pharmaceutical and pesticide intermediates, the purification of organic chemicals, the bleaching and deinking of pulp, the recovery of precious metals and heavy metals and industrial waste water treatment.
It is most likely to be used as an immediate hydrogen source for hydrogen fuel cells.
