Application:

Sodium sulfate is an important raw material for making glass and papermaking. It is the largest in the paper and cellulose industry, accounting for about 70% of the total. Sodium sulfate is a component of synthetic detergent. It is a neutral salt. Adding it can reduce the surface tension and increase the solubility of detergent. It is also a diluent of dyes and an auxiliary agent for dyeing and printing. It is used as a dye promoter for cotton fiber dyeing with direct dyes, sulfide dyes and vat dyes, and as a retarding agent for silk dyeing with direct dyes. In the chemical industry, sodium sulfate is used as the raw material for the manufacture of sodium sulfide, gypsum, sodium silicate and other chemical products. The methods of manufacturing sulfuric acid, sulfur, soda ash, ammonium sulfate and other products with sodium sulfate have been studied, but these methods have not been popularized and applied because of their high cost. Sodium sulfate cold agent is commonly used in laboratory. Mirabilite is used as a laxative in medicine. Most of the sodium sulfate entering the body stays in the gastrointestinal tract and is not absorbed. It maintains a certain penetration, which can increase the intestinal content and cause intestinal peristalsis, which has the effect of diarrhea. Sodium sulfate is an antidote to barium and lead poisoning. When lead poisoning, gastric lavage with 10% mirabilite or oral administration of 1 ~ 2% sodium sulfate solution can be used.

Packaging, transportation and storage:
 
1. Industrial anhydrous sodium sulfate is packed in Polyethylene Lined plastic bags and plastic woven bags; Or use plastic woven bags and moisture-proof composite paper bags for packaging. The inner bag shall be heat sealed or tied, and the outer bag shall be firmly stitched. The net content of each bag is 25 kg, 50 kg, 100 kg, 400 kg and 1000 kg.
 
2 . Industrial anhydrous sodium sulfate shall be covered during transportation to prevent package damage, rain and moisture.
 
3. Industrial anhydrous sodium sulfate shall be stored in a cool place to prevent rain and moisture.
