Properties:

Vat Blue BC is dark blue to black granular or powder. It is insoluble in water, acetone, ethanol and toluene, slightly soluble in chloroform (heat), o-chlorophenol and pyridine (heat). It is brown in concentrated sulfuric acid and blue after dilution. It is green blue in alkaline solution and red blue in acid solution.

Application:

Vat blue BC is used for dyeing cotton, viscose fiber, silk and vinylon and printing of cotton cloth. It has good levelness and affinity. It is also used for dyeing viscose cotton and Vinylon cotton blended fabrics and preparing organic pigments.
